Al Khazna Tannery Wastewater Treatment Plant

The scope of this industrial wastewater treatment project was to treat the 250 m3/day effluents coming out of leather tannery to be reused, hence, reducing and recycling the wastewater and saving on freshwater cost. It was a turnkey project which included design engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance. It was specially designed as compared to municipal sewage, the industrial effluents contain higher and more toxic level of contaminants, especially the tannery effluent which is considered one of the highly contaminated industrial effluent.
